Diana grew up in the Los Angeles suburb of Rancho Palos Verdes, and attended the University of California at San Diego for her undergraduate degree. She spent the summers of 2003, 2004, and 2005 in Cairo, Egypt, working with Sudanese refugees and filming a documentary about their situation. After listening to the Sudanese’s stories, Diana was inspired to pursue a career in journalism, out of a passion for talking to people, becoming an expert in something, and writing.
She received a Master of Arts in Journalism from New York University in December 2007 and has worked in the journalism field since. Her portfolio includes stories written on a variety of topics from pension funds to media and entertainment.
