About Diana

Diana grew up in the Los Angeles suburb of Rancho Palos Verdes, and attended the University of California at San Diego for her undergraduate degree. She spent the summers of 2003, 2004, and 2005 in Cairo, Egypt, working with Sudanese refugees and filming a documentary about their situation. After listening to the Sudanese’s stories, Diana was inspired to pursue a career in journalism, in order to give a voice to the weak and exploited in the world.

She currently resides in New York City, where she recently finished NYU’s graduate program in journalism. Her portfolio includes stories written on a variety of topics from refugees to media and have been published in a number of different publications.
